The launch of the latest version of the iPhone has been met with universal disappointment by eager Apple fans the world over who were expecting a brand new version, the iPhone 5, to be unleashed.
Instead an upgrade to the previous model was launched, with the iPhone 4s unveiled by incoming Apple CEO Tim Cook (who replaced the legendary Steve Jobs in August).
The main tweaks centre around improved optics for enhanced video and photos.

The negative web chatter from the launch spilled over into the business market with Apple shares dropping almost 5 percent!
The phone is expected to retail at $799 for the 16GB version and $999 for the 64GB version when Apple pre-orders commence in Australia on October 7.
Will you be upgrading to the new version or wait until the iPhone 5?
