Okay... Hands up who remembers owning a copy of Jaggered Little Pill? Yes, us too! Isn't it a little ironic to think that album which was in everyone's discman was released almost 20 years ago.

“Guardian” is the first single from her forthcoming studio album “Havoc and Bright Lights” hitting stores and interweb's August 31.

Since 1995 Alanis Morissette has been one of the most influential singer-songwriter-musicians in the music biz. Her deeply expressive music and performances have have made sure her shelves are stacked with 12 Canadian Juno Awards, 7 Grammy® Awards (with an additional 14 nominations), a Golden Globe nomination and over 60 million album sales worldwide... Not Bad huh? 

In Australia she has sold over 1.3 million albums and released such singles as “You Oughta Know”, “Hand In My Pocket”, “Ironic”, “You Learn”, “All I Really Want”, “Thank U” and “Hands Clean”.
