Allegations Teen Mom Star's Baby Born With Drugs In System

Just weeks after successfully coming to a new custody agreement for her eldest son Jace, Jenelle Evans is once again embroiled in a legal battle over her children.

This time the Teen Mom 2 star is being challenged by the grandmother of her second child Kaiser, whom Evans shares with ex-partner Nathan Griffith.

Griffith's mother, Doris Davidson, has filed for emergency temporary custody of the former couple's three-year-old son, alleging that Evans' daughter was found with drugs in her system when she was born in January this year.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Davidson is claiming that nine-month-old Ensley Eason - whose father Evans is set to marry next week - tested positive for marijuana at birth.

It's alleged that a further investigation by the Department of Social Services also found marijuana in both Evans' and fiancé David Eason's systems.

Davidson has also levelled claims of abuse against her former daughter-in-law, stating in the documents that she has seen unusual bruises and marks on Kaiser on "several occasions" and that Eason has used "inappropriate and excessive discipline" on his stepson.

She has further stated that Kaiser once said: "Nana, David punched me," while making hitting motions towards his face.

Davidson is requesting that Evans undergo a psychological evaluation and has asked a judge to test the reality star's hair follicles for drugs.

Evans has responded to the claims, telling E! News that Davidson's allegations have been fuelled by her own mother, Barbara.

"Our lawyers are talking today," she said. "Doris made accusations but I can tell you that Barbara has a lot to do with them... Doris threw her own son under the bus by admitting that he has pending felonies and possibly on drugs.

"Her emergency filing was against me and Nathan both... I can tell you that they are allegations, mostly driven by my mom.

"Our lawyers are working out a new agreement."

Evans and Griffith called off their engagement in August 2015, just three months after Evans turned herself into police for allegedly assaulting her then-fiancé.

Griffith has yet to comment on the allegations.
