Crowe Needs Resucing... And A Shave
He may have once captained a ship in
Master and Commander, but when Russell Crowe set out kayaking around Long Island, New York, he nonetheless managed to get lost.
Paddling with a friend, the star found himself nearly 16 kilometers from where he started as it got dark and was forced to head to shore.
Eventually the pair were picked up by the Coast Guard and dropped back at the harbour.
In a picture taken by his rescuers, Crowe is almost unrecognisable thanks to his scruffy beard and shorn hair.
We're hoping this isn't a permanent look and will be rectified as soon as Crowe finishes filming his latest movie Noah (based on the biblical man and his arc)!
Hillary Duff Glows On A Night Out
New mum, Hillary Duff, has shunned Hollywood's unhealthy obsession for dropping baby weight and we think she looks absolutely radiant!
The former Disney star, who gave birth in March, has been taking the sensible approach to weight loss, avoiding the fad diets, detoxes and extreme exercise regimes we so often hear of.
Stepping out with a friend to spend the night on the town, Duff looked happy and healthy dressed in leather leggings and a sparkly top.
RIP Michael Clarke Duncan
Actor, Michael Clarke Duncan, who will be remember for his role in movies such as
The Green Mile,
Armageddon,
Kung Fu Panda and
Planet of the Apes, has passed away.
The 54 year old, who at 6ft 5in was a formidable figure, died in hospital after nearly two months of treatment following a heart attack in July.
