A HUGE Australian TV Show Has Decided To NEVER Return!

It has been one of Australia’s biggest exports, even getting an Emmy nomination but comedian Josh Thomas has decided to call time on his TV show, Please Like Me.

The news was made in a surprise statement on Friday, with the funnyman saying he was happy to leave at its dramatic season four finale.

"Ultimately we decided this because we are really happy with what we've made and felt like it is complete," the 29-year-old actor said.

"I want to thank everyone who has watched the show and sent me a friendly note. This show is so intensely personal, it recreates the most intimate moments of my life and lays them out for anyone to watch.

"Seeing how people have connected with this show has been tremendously confidence building for me, and I'm grateful for that. Thank you."

Producer Todd Abbott continued to say that the emotional ending was the right time to go.

"So many viewers have let us know that this recent season had a profound effect on them that we don't want to spoil that by going back to the well one too many times," said Abbott.

"Across four seasons, Please Like Me has chronicled Josh's entire twenties, but that period in his life has come to a conclusion. We're storytellers, and we're really happy that this particular story has been told.
