Beyonce Rescued At Concert After Becoming Stranded On Stage

Like knights in shining armour on their trusty steeds, stage hands armed with ladders were sent to the rescue of Queen Bey after a technical difficulty at one of her One The Run II concerts left her stranded on a flying stage above a crowd of fans.

During the Warsaw, Poland leg of her tour with husband Jay-Z, Beyonce was performing atop of a stage that was suspended about 20 feet in the air.

However, when it was time for Bey to come back down, the stage became stuck and would not lower, leaving the 36-year-old singer and mum of three stuck.

And while we would assume that someone who has such an angelic voice like Beyonce might just be able to spread her wings and majestically glide on down to safety, (hello it’s Beyonce, anything is possible) her descent was actually far less glamorous.

A tall ladder was propped up against the floating stage and the crowd watched on as Beyonce bravely climbed down each step; an act that couldn’t have been easy in her towering heels and tight costume.

Fans cheered as she finally made it back to the ground.

And thankfully there were no other malfunctions to speak of on the night and Bey went back on to Run The World (GIRLS!). What a trooper!
