Brad Pitt Speaks Out About Child Abuse Claims
Since reports broke that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt, there have been a string of claims and speculations as to why.
Earlier in the week we heard that Jolie was fed up with Brad’s pot-smoking habit followed by claims that Pitt had been getting close to co-star Marion Cotillard, which she has since denied.

Yesterday, TMZ reported that Pitt was being investigated by Los Angeles social services and police after becoming verbally and physically abusive with his children on a private plane trip from France to LA.
Authorities were notified anonymously of Pitt’s drunken behaviour, which allegedly continued on the tarmac before both Jolie and Pitt were met by officials from the LA Department of Children and Family Services, according to TMZ.

A source close to Pitt has told TMZ that the 52-year-old actor is strongly denying allegations of abuse.
“He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children," they said.
"It is unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.”
The New York Post has also printed a statement from a second source who told the publication.
“He was never physically abusive to her or the kids. He did yell at one of their children on the plane during an argument, but he didn’t hit the child. Brad is denying claims of inappropriate behaviour.”

The Los Angeles Police Department have denied any involvement in the alleged incident telling Us Weekly, “LAPD is not handling any report or allegations into child abuse for Mr Brad Pitt.”
