Calm Down Everyone Leonardo DiCaprio Was NOT Raped By A Bear

A Fox spokesperson has confirmed there is no scene in upcoming film The Revenant depicting Leonardo DiCaprio being raped by a bear.

The statement comes after a report from US site Drudge Report claimed a scene included in the Alejandro Inarritu directed film has a Grizzly which "flips Leo over and thrusts and thrusts".

The report states viewers left screenings during the scene.

"As anyone who has seen the movie can attest, the bear in the film is a female who attacks Hugh Glass because she feels he might be threatening her cubs," the Fox spokesperson told Entertainment Weekly.

"There is clearly no rape scene with a bear."

The bear attack has featured heavily in advertising for the survival film which stars DiCaprio as a frontiersman surviving in the wilderness.

The movie is tipped to win DiCaprio his long-awaited Oscar for Best Actor while the bear, named Judy, has been nominated for an Annie Award in Outstanding Achievement, Character Animation in a Live Action Production.
