Former Bachelorette Suitor Luke McLeod Shares Touching Post

When you think of Valentine's Day, you think of roses, chocolates and of course your significant other, however, for former Sophie Monk Bachie suitor Luke McLeod, the day means so much more.

Many Aussie reality stars have been sharing posts about Uber Eats of late, but Luke has taken it to the next level.

Posting to his instagram yesterday, Luke shared a picture a homeless man lying on a park bench, with a Uber Eats bag next to him.

He captioned:

"I know there's been so many beautiful photos today of loved ones together and sorry if this one is confronting, but I wanted to share this message," he wrote. "I'm lucky I have my wonderful family around me that love me and I love them. However not everyone is as lucky as me. Love is an amazing, tricky and at times hard to deal with emotion. I wanted to try and 'pay it forward' and show some love to someone who mightn't have much today."

"I just wanted to pay it forward to someone who mightn't have as much love around them as what I or most of us do," Luke told 973FM. "Hopefully it served as a little reminder on how lucky most of us are."

I know there's been so many beautiful photos today of loved ones together and sorry if this one is confronting, but I wanted to share this message. . I'm lucky I have my wonderful family around me that love me and I love them. However not everyone is as lucky as me. Love is an amazing, tricky and at times hard to deal with emotion. I wanted to try and 'pay it forward' and show some love to someone who mightn't have much today. . You've probably seen posts come up all the time about people promoting @ubereats_aus tagging #ubereatsaus and instead of throwing my mug in the photo eating food. I thought this would be an opportunity to pass on what was given to me. . I was unsure about taking the photo, but thought the msg should be shared. My hope is that when he wakes up he feels a little loved in some way. . One love.
