Former Glee Star Dead At 35 After Apparent Suicide
Actor Mark Salling - former star of TV series ‘Glee’ - has been found dead after an apparent suicide.
The body of the 35-year-old was discovered outside in the Northeast San Fernando Valley.
In December of last year, Salling pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.
The actor was awaiting sentencing and was expected to face between four and seven years behind bars.
It’s believed that Salling had 50,000 images of underage children and consequently was registered on the sex offenders list.
Salling was born in Dallas and rose to fame after playing Noah “Puck” Puckerman on “Glee” between 2009 and 2015.
The news was confirmed by his lawyer Michael J Proctor when speaking to EW.
“I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning,” Mr Proctor said.
“Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment.
“He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother.
The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected.”
