Hilary Duff Says That A 'Lizzie McGuire' Reboot Could Happen

Grab your butterfly clips, chokers, double denim and platform shoes because we might be getting news episodes of Lizzie McGuire!

Hilary Duff has confirmed that a 'Lizzie McGuire' reboot is officially in talks to happen.

"There's been some conversations," Duff told Entertainment Tonight. "It's definitely not a go. I don't want to get everyone wild talking about it."

While the 31-year-old mentioned that nothing is official, the fact that it's being considered is what dreams are made of

But, Hilary Duff has made it clear that she is completely supportive of the reboot.

"I mean I love her so much," she gushed of the loveable character and her animated alter ego. "I think she was so important to girls at an important time in their life. If she could be important to them again at this age, I think that would be amazing."

Duff also speculated about what a grown-up Lizzie would be doing 15 or so years after she infamously impersonated an Italian pop star during a high school overseas trip.

"I'm racking my brain," Duff said. "I don't think she's a mom yet, but she might be getting there soon."

The Internet understandably went crazy over the potential reboot, with many trying to guess what the always stylish, sometimes clumsy icon would be doing with her life in 2018.

We don't know about you but if Lizzie isn't dating or married to Gordo then we're rioting. Just sayin'...
