Lori Loughlin’s Daughter Leaves Yacht Owned By Uni Official
Just when things couldn’t look worse for Lori Loughlin’s family amid the college bribery scandal, something like this happens.
Loughlin is facing criminal charges relating to a $US25 million scheme to help wealthy Americans secure places for their kids in some of the country’s top colleges.
It was discovered she paid $US500,000 to help cheat her daughters' way into the University of Southern California by bribing the school’s rowing coaches to pretend her girls were gifted rowers.
It’s now being reported that while she travelled from Vancouver to Los Angeles to surrender to authorities, her daughter, Olivia Gianulli, 19, spent the night aboard a yacht which belongs to the Chairman of USC's Board of Trustees, Rick Caruso.
Olivia, who goes by her social media name Olivia Jade, was on the yacht with Caruso's daughter, Gianna, Olivia and several other friends were spending spring break in the Bahamas.
Caruso told TMZ the group left just before news of the scandal broke.
"Once we became aware of the investigation, the young woman decided it would be in her best interests to return home."
Finally. At least one smart decision has been made.
