Macaulay Culkin Remade Iconic Scenes From Home Alone
If we were to make a list of the most iconic Christmas films of all time, Macaulay Culkin’s Home Alone would definitely be up the top!
And while we re-watch this Christmas classic every single year to get us in the mood for the festive season, it turns out that this year we’ve actually got some new Home Alone footage to watch!
Sadly, we’re not talking about a proper reboot of the film or even cut scenes from the original, but don’t worry, it’s something just as good!
Macaulay Culkin has gone and remade some of his most iconic scenes from the film 28 years on from the release of the original film. And my god it’s everything we never knew we needed this Christmas!
In a 1 minute clip, designed to be an ad for the Google Assistant, the 38-year-old actor reprises his role as Kevin McCallister, a kid who is left home alone when his family goes on a European holiday over Christmas.
And yep, that infamous aftershave moment is in there! Only now that he's not baby-faced, it doesn't seem to hurt as much!
We only wish there was a remake of the break in scene where Kevin absolutely demolishes two grown men, the ‘Wet Bandits’, with nothing more than some simple household items because we all know this is the best 20 minutes of the whole film.
Next year maybe?
For now though, check out the remake in the video above!
