Paris Jackson HITS Out After Being Called ‘Wacko Jacko 2.0’
You might’ve already heard that Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, was the international guest at this years Melbourne Cup.
Her appearance at the event caused quite a stir as her behaviour was picked apart and labelled bizarre. The 19-year-old was photographed licking a window inside a marquee and it wasn’t long until the photos were splashed everywhere.
#FlemingtonVRC & #Myer did well at picking their International VIP guest & face for the #EmiratesMelbourneCup 😂👍 What were they thinking?!😏 #MelbCupCarnival #SpringCarnival #Classy #ParisJackson pic.twitter.com/4uKpqvvgfb— Budgie (@LabrooyLozz) November 8, 2017
The Herald Sun featured one of the images in an article alongside the headline ‘Wakco Jacko 2.0’. A short few hours later, Paris got her hands on the newspaper and took to twitter to blast the writers.
She particularly took issue with the fact that labelling her as ‘2.0’ dragged her father, the King of Pop, into the discussion and she made it clear that she will not stand for it at all.
i couldn't care less what they call me tbh but adding the "2.0" is their way of dragging my father into it and THAT i will not stand for. pic.twitter.com/sqxueMliUD— Paris-Michael K. J. (@ParisJackson) November 7, 2017
What a way to stick up for yourself!
