Pitbull Lends Private Plane To Transfer Cancer Patients

“Mr WorldWide” Pitbull has a heart of gold.

The 36-year-old rapper is using his privileged life for good and has lent his private plane to transfer cancer patients from Puerto Rico to the United States so that they can continue treatment.

Jenniffer González, congresswoman for Puerto Rico took to twitter to thank the star.

And in English - "Thanks to singer @Pitbull for lending private plane to transfer cancer patients from Puerto Rico to the United States so that they can take their chemo."

The island of Puerto Rico has been hit by Hurricane Maria, the most powerful storm to hit the region in almost a century.

“We’re talking here about major devastation,” Carlos Mercader, a spokesperson for the Puerto Rican government, told PBS NewsHour. “And when we say major devastation, that means that in terms of infrastructure, we have full communities that 80 or 90 percent of the homes are a complete disaster. They are totally lost.”

Puerto Rico is still under SOS alert.
