Teen Girls Arrested For Making Threats Inspired By 'A'
For a teenage girl, going through high school can seem like one of the toughest things in the world with all of the pimples, puberty and bitchiness.
But after the show Pretty Little Liars began and we saw the kinds of things that the young girls had to go through on this show (blackmail, kidnapping, attempted murder, ya know the usual high school stuff...) we learnt to be thankful that our high school experience was nowhere near as rough as that.
But we were shocked to hear that two teenage girls in Ohio learnt something completely different, and were actually inspired to create an 'A' persona to terrorise their classmates with.
Two girls aged fourteen and fifteen at Piqua High School created a Snapchat account entitled 'A' (the same name that the psychopath's use to terrorise Aria, Hannah, Spencer and Emily in Pretty Little Liars) and used it to anonymously threaten to expose other student's secrets.
The girls also spread false rumours of a school shooting with the 14-year-old writing on the bathroom mirror: "I'm still going to shoot up the school. A."
Once the school caught on to what was happening, classes were dismissed early and cancelled the next day, with police called to intervene.
The two teenage girls have now been charged in Juvenile Court for the threats.
