Tenacious D Speak Out Over Horrible Death Prank

We all know now that Jack Black is alive and well.

On Sunday evening, Tenacious D posted three tweets in quick succession saying that band-mate and film star Jack Black had died.

The tweets have since been deleted but they read ''I'm sad to announce the death of Jack Black at the age of 46, rest in peace brother.''

It was then quickly then followed up with another saying ''It is with a heavy heart I am to announce that Jack Black passed away last night at 3:37am. The cause of death is yet unknown.''

Only know are we hearing from the band themselves who have tweeted ''WE had our Twitter account hacked. We can assure you that Jack is ALIVE and WELL and that this was a sick ‘prank''.

Well I guess it's better than the first thing everyone thought, that the band were playing a prank on them.. which would have been low.

It's still pretty low, though.
