The 15 Movies You'll Be DYING To See In 2017

We may not be through with 2016 just yet, but that doesn't mean we can't get excited for the HECTIC movie schedule we've got coming up next year.

It looks like we've got at least one banger dropping every month, and the horror movies in particular look intense.

Bring it on!

January
The Autopsy Of Jane Doe

A father-and-son coroner team are tasked with identifying a mysterious murder victim, but it's not long before they're mixed up in something entirely more sinister.

February
Fifty Shades Darker

The second installment of the global hit Fifty Shades Of Grey series sees Anastacia struggling with an overbearing - and very forward - new boss.

March
Beauty and the Beast

Emma Watson stars as Belle in the hotly anticipated live-action remake of this Disney classic.

April
The Circle

Hot on the heels of her turn in Beauty and the Beast, Emma Watson joins Tom Hanks in a psychological thriller set in a futuristic tech firm.

fate of the furious

Can you believe we're up to EIGHT Fast And The Furious films? Dwayne Johnson joins the usual suspects in the latest installment.

May
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

One of cinemas most irreverent comic book movies is back with another action-packed go around the galaxy, complete with hectic '80s soundtrack.

Baywatch

Dwayne Johnson's muscles meet Zac Efron's muscles and hilarity ensues. Bonus points for the same dorky slow-mo running we all know and love.

June
Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot popped up in the not-very-well-received Batman V Superman and gave us a tiny glimpse of her true ass-kicking abilities; the latest trailer for Wonder Woman movie shows even more of what the magical Amazonian is capable of. Frothing.

Transformers - the last knight

Yes, they're still making Transformers movies. While they may not be ground-breaking cinema, you know exactly what you're getting with a Michael Bay number like this and they rarely disappoint.

July
Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spidey is back, but this time it's Tom Holland in the suit. It's the first time Marvel have been involved in a Spider-Man movie, so we're expecting great things.

August
Annabelle 2

The teaser trailer for Annabelle 2 dropped a few months ago but we have to wait until the middle of next year to get our eyes on the actual movie. That should give us enough time to mentally prepare for the scares.

September
It

While we don't yet have a trailer for the reboot of the terrifying 1990 mini-series of the same name, the promotional pics of Pennywise are already making us giddy. Will Bill Skarsgard be creepier than Tim Curry? Doubtful. But he looks like he's going to give it a red-hot go.

October
Friday The 13th

Another reboot of another classic, we're slightly more sceptical of Friday the 13th's new go around the block. Still, should be good for a Hallowe'en night in.

November
Thor: Ragnarok

Filming for the latest Thor movie shutdown several Brisbane CBD locations earlier this year, and stills from set look incredible. Until the trailer drops, however, watch the hilarious explanation as to where Thor has been in the meantime.

December
Pitch Perfect 3

Another aca-amazing sequel is on the way, just in time for Christmas next year. We can't imagine how it's going to be any different from the first two, but that doesn't mean we're not excited for more sick cover songs/ Fat Amy jokes.

See you at the cinema?
