The FIRST Look At The Fantastic Beasts Sequel Has Arrived

Raise your butterbeers HP fans! Your first look at the the next installment of Fantastic Beasts is here!

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the offish sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and includes the main cast from the OG film.

Eddie Redmayne will reprise his role as Newt Scamander, and heads an all-star cast including Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore (!!!!) and THE MAN, Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindewald.

Other actors include Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange, Ezra Miller as Credence (even though his character died in the first one...¯\_()_/¯) and returning Katherine Waterson as Tina Goldstein, Dan Fogler as No-Maj Jacob and Alison Sudol as mind-reading aura Queenie.

The official plot description reads:

“At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

“In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.”

There are going to be five of these films in total. The first of course, set in 1926 and the last, 1945.

You probably want me to get to the pointy end of the wand and tell you when the film will be released?
