THIS Child Star Has Just Come Out As “Queer”
If you ever watched Matilda, or Mrs. Doubtfire, no doubt you’ll know of Mara Wilson.

Following the Orlando shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Wilson chose to disclose to her followers that she identifies with the “bi/queer label lately”.
.@__SonjaLouise__ I said I *used* to identify as mostly straight. I've embraced the Bi/Queer label lately— Mara Wilson (@MaraWritesStuff) 14 June 2016
While most people think that it’s amazing she chose such an otherwise devastating act to reveal her true self to the world, others have accused her of ‘stealing the spotlight’ and trying to make something tragic all about her.
She took to Twitter to address the situation…
Apparently admitting to something personal in a reply on my own Twitter makes me an "attention whore" "co-opting a tragedy"— Mara Wilson (@MaraWritesStuff) 14 June 2016
.@facebook Also, I'm a relatively fortunate cis white lady, there's very little risk in me coming out. LGBT minorities are more at risk...— Mara Wilson (@MaraWritesStuff) 14 June 2016
.@facebook I appreciate your support, but there's more important stuff happening than me also liking ladies— Mara Wilson (@MaraWritesStuff) 14 June 2016
