What Britney Has Done For Sick Kids Is AMAZING

As if Britney wasn’t AMAZING enough, she’s really knocked it out of the park with her latest move.

The Princess of Pop has only gone and raised an incredible $1 million for a childhood cancer facility in the US.

Rather than taking a pay cheque home from her “Piece of Me” ticket sales, Britney is donating the one million dollars to go to Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation’s new facility.

According to People, the 16,000 square-foot, the facility will have more than 45 pediatric and adult services.

Now that’s impressive.

In a statement, the ‘Slumber Party’ singer opened up about her own experiences with the awful impact of cancer.

"My aunt Sandra died of cancer and I know the devastating effects that this terrible disease brings upon its victims and their loved ones, but when it happens to innocent young children, there's literally nothing I can think of worse than that," she said.

Britney went on to say that donating the money was the proudest moment of her career.

“The fact that I was able to use my celebrity status to raise the money to build this incredible facility to help sick children and their families when they need it the most not only brings many tears to my eyes, but really brings tremendous meaning to this amazing journey that I have been on,” she added.

Britney said she even plans on popping along to the grand opening later this year in October.

Way to go Britney!
