Foo Fighters' Carpool Karaoke Ends With ULTIMATE 'Rick Roll'

If you weren’t already PUMPED for the Foo Fighters to tour Australia, you will be after the latest Carpool Karaoke.

And, it is EPIC.

The Foos, together with host James Corden, wasted no time getting straight to their classic bangers, "All My Life," "Best of You," "Learn to Fly" and "The Sky Is a Neighborhood."

And yasssss, drummer Taylor Hawkins also totally smashes the air drums in the car too… just like us.

Between tunes, Dave Grohl and Nate Mendel got nostalgic, recalling the first time they played together.

"I remember the first time we jammed, I was playing through a karaoke machine in your living room," Mendel said.

"Full circle!" Grohl shouted.

After Corden got a bit existential (and a little bit cocky), saying that the “rhythm moves within me” before asking the lads “what is drumming? It’s a feeling,” he was challenged to a drum audition by Grohl… a challenge which was accepted.

Shortly after a ‘drum-off’ with Taylor Hawkins, Corden admitted that drumming was, indeed, more than a “feeling”. Perhaps it required a bit of skill too? Hmmm.

But the grand finale?

The thrashiest goddam version of Rick Astley’s "Never Gonna Give You Up" you’re ever likely to hear. Ever.

Earlier this month, the Foo Fighters announced they’re heading back Down Under, kicking off in Perth, in the light of their ninth album, Concrete And Gold. They’ll be supported by fellow American rockers, Weezer.
