You have to hand it to the creators of Glee - they certainly know how to pick the hits!
The popular show is not only responsible for launching one of yesterday's Grammy winners to success, it also picked the night's big winner - a little known Aussie hit that took out Record of the Year.
Best New Artist of the Year winners, Fun., can at least partly attribute their Grammy for Song of the Year to Glee who covered the winning hit, We Are Young, back in December 2011 - before many people had even heard of it.
According to Deadline Hollywood, following the song's debut on Glee, sales of the single soared by 1,650% and was soon after featured in a Superbowl ad that pushed it to #1!
The other big winner from last nights Grammy Awards, Gotye's Somebody That I Use To Know, was also featured on the hit show in April last year.
While receiving mixed reviews from Gotye himself, the cover saw it launched into the mainstream US charts and not long after, took out the #1 spot!
