Apparently Schapelle Corby Might Be Dancing With The Stars
In ‘are you ready for this’ news comes the reports that convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby is poised to sign on for the 2019 season of Dancing with the Stars.
It’s not the first time the idea has been floated, co-host Grant Denyer hinted at it in an interview with TV Week in October, saying that “these shows are perfect for redemption.”
Now it’s New Idea that’s running with it, citing a ‘TV insider’ who apparently said that Channel 10 is willing to stump up some serious cash for her appearance.
“If she agreed to do the show there's no doubt they'd throw big bucks at her because they know it would be a ratings hit,” the mysterious source said.
Corby spent almost 10 years in Indonesia’s Kerobokan Prison for smuggling 4.1kg of marijuana inside her boogie board bag.
A media frenzy broke out when she touched back down in Australia in 2017 after she was deported.

I got it. I passed. In QLD if your driver licence has expired over 5 years (as mine was) you need to 1. Do the written test. 2. Book in and Pass your driven test. From 'L' plates straight to Open licence. Ive been home since May 2017, why has it taken me so long to get my licence?... well that'd be because i had a broken leg of course. Leg is healing well & Im so excited to have my independence. Now just need a car. #mercedesbenz 😉
Dancing with the Stars last aired on Channel Seven in 2015.
The new series, returning in 2019, will be hosted by Grant Denyer and Amanda Keller.
