The Amityville: Awakening Trailer Looks Terrifying
You may only know her as Scott Disick's ill-advised Cannes fling, but Bella Thorne is about to become much more of a household name if the new trailer for Amityville: Awakening is anything to go by.
The official international clip for the terrifying flick has dropped online and it looks like the ex-Disney star is literally living in a nightmare.
It has all the usual components for a horror movie - think creepy dolls, windows that mysteriously open by themselves and blonde children just appearing in the hallway - but with the addition of a previously paralysed character who miraculously begins to recover.
"Belle, her little sister and her comatose twin brother movie into a new house with their single mother Joan in order to save money to pay for her brother's expensive healthcare," the plot reads.
"But when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house including the miraculous recovery of her brother, Belle begins to suspect her mother isn't telling her everything and soon realises they just moved into the infamous Amityville house."
While we don't yet have an Australian release date, the trailer alone has us reaching for the light switch.
You can check out the international trailer in the clip above, or another full-length look below - just watch out for the 0.57 mark.
