Brisbane, You Can Help Raise A Guide Dog Pup

It’s “Puptober” – the month that is dedicated to raising funds for Guide Dogs Queensland.

And while the ultimate aim is to raise money for the foundation, there’s an even better reason to get on board.

Guide Dogs QLD is calling for volunteers to be Puppy Raisers.

These vollies house, care for and train a Guide dog puppy until they are 18 months old – unfortunately, you do need to give the pup back (we know…) but it’s for a very good cause!

The program is open only to Brisbane residents who can commute to Guide Dogs Queensland’s Bald Hills headquarters for training and vet visits.

Can’t raise a pup?

Six limited edition puppy cards will be available for $2 each in IGA stores across Queensland throughout the month.
