Fire Brigade Called To Rescue Willy Stuck In Gym Weight

First rule of gym club: Don't skip third leg day.

Over the weekend in Germany, a man has been hospitalised - and then the fire department had to be called - to release him from a gym weight he'd found himself stuck in in a most unfortunate way.

I guess this is what they mean by training hard.

The rescue took 3 hours and involved angle grinders, a vibrating saw (I bet it did) and the jaws of life.  The man was heavily sedated throughout the procedure, presumably so that he didn't "feel the burn".

In case you're interested, it was a 2.5 kg weight, so next time you're at the gym you can (safely) compare the size of the hole.  The whole is the bit where the bar goes, right?
