Four Brissy Houses Vandalised For Supporting 'Yes' Vote
Regardless of whether you sit in the "Yes' or 'No' camp, no one deserves this...
A number of people in support of Marriage Equality have had their properties vandalised by people of the opposing opinion.
Three houses in Dutton Park brandishing rainbow signs a have had swastikas plastered over the top.
Meanwhile, just before midnight on Sunday, a man allegedly threw rocks into a home in Woolloongabba, smashing two windows.
Thankfully it smashed into a living area and spare bedroom, so no one was hurt.
One post from a resident that lives in the targeted house said that they are glad that despite the scare last night, the signs have prompted more love and kindness as opposed to hate.
"I'm so angry... But to be honest this violence doesn't compare to what many people within the LGBTQIA community have gone through - at the end of the day this is a house, not a person," Larissa Baldwin posted.
"If you want to live in world without hate and bigotry then we have to be willing to work to make it a reality.
"We can fix the windows. We're not taking our signs down. Please post your Yes!"
Another sign of resilience from the residents is this artwork - changing the swastika to support their message...

Can't keep them down...
