One Of Australia's BIGGEST Shows Is Not Coming Back

One of Australia’s biggest TV shows will not return next year.

The Age is reporting that Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries on the ABC, a show that average 800,000 viewers a week will not be returning in 2017.

The reason? ‘’Essie Davis is forging a global career, and she's in hot demand at the moment. She's living in the UK ... there are no specific plans other than, 'We'd love to work with her again, as Miss Fisher’,’ says ABC head of television Richard Finlayson.

As well as that, there is no certainty that Gruen will be back as the decision is down to Will Anderson and as yet ‘’there is no announcement.’

However, we are more likely to see shows such as Please Like Me, The Checkout and Utopia returning to the ABC next year.

A full line-up is expected from the network in the next few days but there could be more shows not returning as their stars get bigger!
