Parking Inspectors Defend Themselves Through Song and Dance
Who’d have thought that parking inspectors had such good moves?
Melbourne City Council has hired a top choreographer to produce a video defending parking inspectors.
The clip features the story of an angry driver complaining about his ticket and calling the parking inspector a whole host of nasty names - and then, of course, the inspector bursts into song and dance.
Lord Mayor Robert Doyle said: “The film shows that we know how to have a bit of fun and hopefully it will encourage people to obey the sign and Hold the Line.”
It was directed by Gideon Obarzanek, who spent three months working with council staff on the clip and was reimbursed $20,000.
