Runners Take On Darkness To Daylight For Domestic Violence
Each year in Australia approximately 110 women, children and men die because of domestic and family violence.
This year we joined up with the Darkness to Daylight challenge to remember those lives.
Listen: How Rosie Batty Keeps The Memory Of Her Son Alive...
It started on Wednesday night with runners taking on a 110km course to remember the 110 lives lost. They were joined Thursday morning by those people taking on the 10km run and 3km walk.
In doing so, they hope to not just raise funds, but awareness of those living in fear, desperation, isolation and hopelessness.
Congratulations to everyone who took on this year's challenge.
