It’s the story that has been captivating the world for 20 years and following on from the documentary we saw last week; there is now a film about the death of JonBenet Ramsey.

The trailer itself is narrated by the ghost of JonBenet and the voice over starts by saying ''this Christmas I would be 26, but to everyone, I'll always be 6.'

As she speaks, we get our first look at Lifetime's JonBenet played by newcomer Payton Lepinski.

As it was Christmas a the time of the murder, we are of course treated to eerie Christmas carols as the murder unfolds.

Robert Michel Gill, best known for starring in House of Cards, will play JonBenet’s father, John, while Patsy, the mother, will be played by Romy an Michelle star Julie Campbell.

Also joining the cast is Band Of Brothers actor Eion Bailey as Detective Steve Thomas, who is convinced the family did it.

The trailer release comes just a week after ‘The Case Of JonBenet Ramsey’ accused her brother of unintentional murder following an argument over pineapple.
