The New Selfie That Could Land You In Prison for 5 Years

Underboob selfies have recently been trending however Thailand is now banning them. They have said that posting 'seflie' photos of the lower half of their breasts, violates the country's 2007 Computer Crimes Act.

The 2007 Computer Crimes Act bans the creation of electronic content that might cause "damage to the country's security or causes public panic" as well as "any obscene computer data which is accessible to the public."

The craziest thing about all this, is not that they are banning the photos, but that if you do violate this law the penalty can be up to five years imprisonment!

Government spokesperson, Anandha Chouchoti said "we can only warn people to not take it up. They are inappropriate actions."

Celebrities like Rihanna and Nicki Minaj are known for posting the old underboob selfie.

It is currently unknown how law enforcement officials in Thailand will prosecute those taking the selfies, with their faces usually not included in the photo.
