"These Women Decided To Wax My Daughter's Unibrow!"

By Isabella Lovric

Two mothers have accused a daycare centre in Washington of waxing their children’s eyebrows without their permission.

Last week, Alyssa Salgado noticed a red mark between her child's eyebrows that she thought was a scratch.

When Alyssa went home and took a closer look, she realized that her daughter's unibrow had actually been waxed.

Ms Salgado shared her story on Facebook posting before and after images of her daughter's eyebrows to emphasize the difference.

“I take my daughter to the CBC Daycare to be cared for while I'm at school trying to focus on graduating!" Ms Salgado said.

“Then I go pick up my daughter yesterday and saw a red mark in between her eyebrows I think it's a scratch but as soon as a get home I get a closer look these WOMEN decided to WAX MY DAUGHTERS unibrow.

“I immediately started to contact the director of the daycare in many texts she tried to come up with multiple excuses then this morning I take my daughter in person to the director. She laughs in my face telling me a bunch of lies and I do get upset!!!

“I AM A MOTHER NOTHING LIKE THIS SHOULD EVER HAPPEN AND THEY HAD NO RIGHT TO TOUCH MY DAUGHTER AT ALL.

“I birthed my daughter and love every little thing about her and these so-called women took it upon themselves to correct the way my daughter should look.”

Alyssa’s post was shared over 19,000 times receiving hundreds of supportive comments from other parents.

Alyssa then discovered that another mother at the same childcare centre has also accused them of waxing her one-year-old's eyebrows story.

Glenda Maria Cruz shared her story and before and after photos of her son as well.

“I know a lot of you are going to say this not a big deal but honestly for me, it is because their skin is really delicate and no lady has the right to do this to any kid.

“It's really hard honestly because he's just a baby he can't defend himself he's not even 2 yet and I'm at a point right now that I feel like a bad mom because I can't protect him when he needs me the most and it sucks feeling this way.”

There is an investigation into the centre currently being conducted.

This is taking ‘brows on fleek’ WAY too far!
