This Couple Beat Odds Of 48 Million-To-One To Welcome Kid!

A married couple have had their first child on their joint birthday, against the odds of 48 million-to-one!

Baby Libbie arrived on the day her parents Jodie and Mark Ballingall were both celebrating their birthdays!

Proud Jodie, 32 said “It is an amazing co-incidence, Libbie is the best birthday present we could ever have.

“She arrived nine days late so it’s as if she was waiting to pop out on our birthdays.”

Libbie was due to arrive on July 23 but was born on August 1 weighing in at 6lb 3ozs.

It means the couple will now have a triple birthday party for years to come.

Jodie said “It was amazing that Mark and I have the same birthday, but now there’s three of us sharing a special day.

“The day before she arrived I was hoping she would wait, we never thought it would happen though. It is just bizarre.

The nurses were astounded. No could believe it, they even got us a cake to celebrate.

“They were wonderful, really excited for us and giving Libbie a lot of fuss.”

Bookmaker Paddy Power said the odds of a baby to share their parents birthday were 48,000,000 to 1.

Jodie added: “It is mad, we should have put a bet on.”
