Aldi UK Recalls Packs Of Nuts Because They Contain Nuts

Aldi UK is urgently recalling a brand of nuts from its shelves because the pack doesn’t declare it contains nuts.

The chain says the Clancy’s Barbecue Flavour Coated Peanuts actually contained cashew nuts, which is not printed on the label, and is advising anyone with a nut allergy to avoid them.

Despite the product only being available in a handful of regional areas, there was concern they could’ve been bought by customers from anywhere in the UK passing through these regions.

While allergies aren’t anything to joke about, the story lit up social media.
