Could This Year's September Issue Be Anna's Last For Vogue?

Could this year's iconic September Issue be the last for Anna Wintour?

Page Six is reporting that Wintour, 68, will leave the mag after 30 years.

Fittingly, it looks set to happen after the July wedding of her daughter Bee Shaffer, which would coincide with Vogue’s September Issue.

Since 1988, Wintour has been the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue but further ascended to artistic director in 2013 – giving her oversight of all Condé Nast publications.

The news comes as Condé struggles amid a shift in the publishing industry.

The publisher denies Wintour is headed towards the door.

“We emphatically deny these rumours,” a Condé spokesperson said, declining to comment more specifically on her plans.

Adding fuel to the fire is the buzz that Wintour’s exit interview has already been promised to the New York Times.

We’ll shall (very) soon see.
