Why You Should Never Store Your Eggs In The Fridge Door
Every fridge seems to come with one of those little egg holders in the fridge door, but did you know that that is actually the WORST place to store your eggs?
A food expert has warned that putting them in the door will actually make them go rotten faster!
The reason they go off quicker is due to the constantly changing temperature as you open and close the fridge door. Vltaka Lake from Space Station suggests, “The general consensus is to store eggs in the fridge, but not in the egg racks commonly found on the fridge door”.
Your eggs will stay perfectly fresh when stored in their carton on a shelf inside the fridge. This allows them to remain at a more even temperature.
Go ahead and get those eggs staying fresh and ready for cooking!
