People Are Now FLOCKING To THIS Aussie Supermarket!
As supermarkets around Australia continue to battle it out to win over consumers, one supermarket in particular will be happy today following news that their shopper numbers are up.
In an effort to catch up with two supermarket giants, Coles and Woolies, and to keep ahead of Aldi, which is gaining popularity with shoppers every quarter, IGA supplier Metcash adopted a plan which saw it matching prices seen in Coles and Woolworths on key items.
These items included Huggies nappies, Tim Tams and Nescafe and the strategy seems to be paying off.

The IGA network have reported a 1.4 per cent growth in same-store sales and it's being put down to things like its Price Match programme.
"The group is focused on supporting independent retailers to ensure they are well positioned to deliver the 'best store in town' for their customers," Metcash CEO Ian Morrice said.
