The Brissie Shopping Centre Getting A Total Makeover
Everton Plaza is about to get a makeover – including a new laneway dining precinct!
Nearly 50 years after it was first built, the suburban centre will get a complete face lift that’s expected to attract shoppers and diners alike.
After being sold for $27.7 million, the new owner hopes to turn Everton Plaza into a popular retail destination.
Currently home to Coles and 30 other retailers, the centre’s Everton Park location is believed to have appealed to the private investors.
On the corner of Stafford and South Pine Roads, the average income of locals is calculated to be 14 per cent higher than Brisbane’s metropolitan average.
According to The Courier Mail, the strong demographics was also attracting prospective “A-grade food and beverage retailers”.
And with parking for 230 cars, it's already looking like a far easier solution for Friday night dining than battling it out in the CBD!
