10-Year-Old Bullied Over His Colostomy Bag Commits Suicide
A 10-year-old boy has reportedly commit suicide after being relentlessly bullied over his colostomy bag.
The young boy was born with a bowel condition that required 26 surgeries, and a colostomy bag.
Seven Bridges' mother had just returned from the grocery store when she found her son hanging in the family home.
"I saw my son dead," Tami Charles told news station WHAS. "That's something in my head."
The fifth grader's parents revealed their son was repeatedly bullied at school over his colostomy bag, and the smell it produced. Other incidents saw the 10-year-old being throttled and called a "n*****" on the school bus.

A full investigation of Kerrick Elementary School in Kentucky is underway, with Tami planning to sue the local school district.
"We found that the school system had a lot of holes and a lot of inconsistencies with their policies about bullying," she told the news station. "They stood on the verbal message, the lip service of zero tolerance, but they did not deliver."
A GoFundMe page has been created to help raise money for the 10-year-old's funeral.
"His death is an example of what can happen when we choose not to take the issue of bullying seriously," the page says.
