QLD Woman And Man Stabbed In Separate DV Incidents
A woman and a man have serious stab wounds after separate domestic violence incidents in Queensland.
Police found a 45-year-old woman with wounds to her body and leg when they were called to a home at Logan, south of Brisbane, on Thursday afternoon. She's in a serious condition in hospital, but is expected to recover.
Her former partner, also 45, was arrested at the scene and will front the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday, charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and the domestic violence offence of entering with intent.
Just a few hours earlier, a 25-year-old man was also stabbed at a home in the central Queensland city of Rockhampton.
He suffered wounds to his chest and body but police say his injuries are not life threatening.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene and will front the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Friday on the domestic violence charge of wounding. He's also accused of wilful damage.
