Adopt A Pet For $50 As RSPCA Struggle With Overflow
After Ex-Cyclone Debbie it's not just people and property that have been impacted.
There are currently 2300 adorable cats and dogs being cared for by RSPCA Queensland - but they need a 'furever' home.
In fact the situation is so dire that the charity estimates there will not be room for them to take on more animals until MAY, their facilities are so full.
Thank you everyone for your support. We are doing ok post #TCDebbie. Some pets relocated from Ipswich. Update here: https://t.co/Q1y2wl21Ap. pic.twitter.com/RqSd4rSRNG

RSPCA spokesperson Michael Beatty confirmed to News.com.au that there was effectively a 'no vacancy' sign for all intents and purposes until more room could be freed up in their QLD centres.
So this weekend they have reduced the adoption costs of all adult cats and dogs to just $50!
$50 for a lifetime of cuddles, companionship and love. Who could resist?
If you've been thinking of adopting a pet, now is the time.

Sadly, some have been in the RSPCA's care for over 100 days and are still waiting to find new parents.
Plus, what a great present for Easter!
You know you want to!!!!
