Angry Anderson’s Son’s Alleged Killer Stays In Jail

A young Sydney man who allegedly murdered the son of rocker Angry Anderson will spend another two months behind bars while the prosecution seeks outstanding toxicology and DNA reports.

Mathew Flame is accused of beating to death his friend, 26-year-old Liam Anderson, on a Queenscliff street in November while allegedly under the influence of MDMA, marijuana and alcohol.

The 20-year-old did not appear via video link at Manly Local Court on Tuesday where he was formally refused bail and his case was adjourned to the same court on April 2.

The office of the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions has served a partial brief but are seeking outstanding expert witness statements including reports on toxicology, DNA testing and the crime scene.
