Woman Found Dead In Car 'May Have Choked On Burger'

A woman who was found dead in her car outside a fast food outlet in Western Australia may have choked on a burger, according to police.

The 47-year-old Bentley woman was found on Friday night slumped over the wheel of her car with a mouthful of chicken burger.

It's believed she bought the burger from the outlet about 12.30pm before she parked up in a section of the Waterford Plaza shopping centre’s carpark to eat it.

She was found roughly three hours later by a passerby, who upon finding the car locked, flagged down security guards at the shopping centre.

One of the car's windows was smashed to get to the woman.

It's believed the remainder of the burger in her lap.

She was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital where she died a short time later.
