Baden Was Last Seen In 2007, But What Happened To Him After?
Baden Bond was just 22 months old when he disappeared from his parents' southeast Queensland home in March 2007.
A decade on, police are appealing for anyone with information about the young toddler to come forward amid growing suspicions he was murdered.
Detective Inspector Damien Hansen said investigators had been unable "to find any evidence of Baden existing" after March 27, 2007.
"Someone out there must know what happened to a two-year-old child," he told media on Wednesday.
Baden's family moved to NSW from their Wagawn St home in Woodridge, south of Brisbane, less than six months after he disappeared.
But he was not reported missing until 2016.
Det Insp Hansen said the family had given police "a number of versions" as to where Baden was, but he had not been found in those locations.
"They have given us those versions that he is with relatives, he is with different people but certainly all our investigations have proved negative," he said.
Det Insp Hansen said police wanted to hear from anyone with information about Baden, who would now be 12, or who saw anything suspicious at the Woodridge home between March and August 2007.
There has been no record of the toddler attending any school or medical centre in the past 10 years.
