Borce Ristevski Sentenced For Manslaughter Of His Wife Karen

Borce Ristevski has been sentenced to nine years imprisonment with no parole for six years.

He has already served 491 days in prison.

The 55-year-old was supported in court by his 24-year-old daughter Sarah from a separate room, who previously provided the court with a good character reference.

Ristevski pleaded guilty to manslaughter and faced a maximum penalty of 20 years behind bars.

The judge, Justice Beale, said Ristevski penalty discount for pleading guilty to the crime was less than he could have expected because he had shown 'no remorse.'

Dress-shop owner Karen disappeared from her family home in Avondale Heights on June 29 2016.

Eight months later, her skeletal remains were found dumped between logs in Macedon Regional Park
