Boy And Woman Critical After Being Run Over In Driveway

A woman and her teenage son are fighting for life after being hit by a reversing car in a Brisbane driveway.

A male relative was behind the wheel when he hit them at a Woolloongabba property about 6.30pm on Tuesday.

Police say the three are from the same family, but haven't said if the man was the husband and father of the injured pair.

The woman, 50, was trapped under the car for some time and had to be revived at the scene, the ambulance service said.

She's been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

Her son, 14, also suffered critical injuries, including broken legs, but wasn't trapped by the car. He's been taken to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.

The forensic crash unit is investigating, but police say the crash is being treated as an accident.
