BYE BYE BARNABY: Barnaby Joyce Disqualified From Parliament
Today was D-Day for some of Australia’s biggest current and former parliamentarians, after it was revealed that an issue over dual-citizenship could mean the forfeit of their seats in parliament.
Today, Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce was to know his fate, and we can confirm that as just a few minutes ago, it has been found that he is disqualified from sitting in parliament.

The decision is due to his dual New Zealand citizenship. Australia's constitution bans anyone holding dual citizenship from sitting in parliament, in a section aimed at ensuring MPs don't have split allegiances.
Four MPS including Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce have been ruled ineligible to sit in Parliament.
