Children Discovered Covered In Blood After Domestic Stabbing

One man is dead and another is fighting for life after a domestic stabbing incident in Brisbane.

Police say the dead man is the partner of the wounded man's ex-wife.

"The person that's died was in a new relationship with a 37-year-old female that lived at this address," Inspector Rob Graham told the Nine Network.

"It will be alleged that the accused killer is the former husband of the female from this address."

Inspector Graham said police arrived to a horrific scene at the Alexandra Hills home around 11.30pm on Tuesday after neighbours called to report children walking around the street covered in blood.

The critically wounded man, 39, is in the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Police remain at the home, which has been declared a crime scene.

National domestic violence helpline: 1800 737 732 or 1800RESPECT. In an emergency call triple-zero.
